Doctor John Halpern, DO, FACEP is the head of our medical program. Dr. Halpern, who also serves as the medical director of the Emergency Department of Coral Springs Medical Center, is a recognized professional in the field of emergency medicine.

Dr. Halpern is a decorated Naval veteran who appeared on CNN during Operation Desert Storm. He has also appeared several times on Channel 5 in Palm Beach.

Dr. Halpern is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, is a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

In most counties in South Florida the average response time for an Advanced Life Support county ambulance to arrive at your door is about seven minutes.

Most medical authorities and the American Heart Association agree that one of the most dangerous times for a heart attack victim is the first four minutes of the attack.

Imagine the security and peace of mind that our clients have knowing that they can have a State of Florida licensed Advanced Life Support Vehicle patrolling their property operated by a State of Florida Paramedic. The average response time for our ALS vehicles is under a minute and a half.

Our Emergency Medical Services program offers two levels of protection. The first level is our Emergency Medical Technician program. With this program a State of Florida EMT is assigned to patrol your site in a specially designated vehicle.

The EMT will be proficient on all first responder first aid procedures as well as the operation of an automatic defibrillator. Elite's clients can have an EMT at their door in less that two minutes.

A.L.S. - Advanced Life Support

The premier level of Emergency Medical Services is Elite's Advanced Life Support program. This level of protection offers a State of Florida licensed Advanced Life Support vehicle on patrol at your site.

The vehicle is staffed by a State of Florida licensed Paramedic. The level of medical services offered is equivalent with the county fire rescue service.

The difference is, our clients can have a paramedic at their side in less than a minute and a half in most cases.
